Rush has wrapped all kinds of Christmas presents and put them in a nice basket. The presents are clearly marked for his friends.
However, the presents are actually just bricks and wood - faux presents to trick his buddies into thinking that he - exactly ten months in advance of Christmas - has already purchased gifts for them. Each present is marked, "Do not open until December 25". Surely - in the next 10 months - his friends will buy him a present to compensate for the fine, thoughtful gift that have been given.
Rush's plan is eerily similar to Nicer Scott's plan that would take place more than 4 years later.
The title is one I have provided purely for identification purposes.
